Serie A giants AC Milan have reportedly joined the race to sign Hibernian full-back Josh Doig.

Doig has been the subject of a lot of interest in recent weeks, with clubs down south such as Leeds and Aston Villa, as well as clubs abroad like Club Brugge.

Yesterday, it was revealed that newly promoted Premier League side Watford, looked to have come the closest so far to sign the young left-back for a fee in the region of £4 million.

As cited by BBC Sport, Milan is now looking to enter the ever-growing list that are interested in signing Doig.

After an impressive season, playing in Scotland for Hibs, you would imagine Celtic will be watching the 19-year closely too.

Doig is a really impressive talent with a big future in the game. So with left-back being one of our more concerning position at times last season, it will be interesting to see if the Hoops look to make a move alongside any of these clubs.
