SHANE DUFFY has took a lot of flak in recent times, some warranted but some of it has been over the top.
Ireland played Wales this evening and lost 1-0 which had some on social media poke fun at the defender for another loss.
However, anybody who watched the game will know Shane did well and was unlucky to be on the losing side.
Albion Analytics looked over Shane’s game on the night and the stats back up the defender did indeed have a better game than some want to let on.

Shane needs to find his confidence, and cut out the silly mistakes which are being punished.
Aberdeen away and Sparta at home were two very bad games for the Irishman. Can he turn things around? Of course he can!
But the defender shouldn’t be an automatic pick, especially with Christopher Jullien on the way back.
