SHAUN MALONEY was asked on BBC Sportscene if he was going to be at Celtic Park come the summer either as an assistant manager or the simply the manager during the SPFL highlight show.
The former Celtic academy graduate and former Celtic coach is currently in the Belgian coaching set up with Roberto Martinez at Belgium.
After being asked the Celtic question, Maloney wasn’t giving much away.
The former Celtic hero believes Celtic can challenge for the title next season but the club need to act in the best possibility manner this summer to get the correct appointment.

Maloney speaks very well any time he’s asked about Celtic. Learning under Roberto Martinez, Shaun has a real understanding of the modern game and the analytic side of things.
Celtic need to utilise this thinking more. Neil Lennon was an analogue manager in the digital age and it caught up with The hoops this season.
Could Maloney come in? He hasn’t ruled it out, that’s for sure.
Sean would be a very progressive pick, excellent coaching skills, and has a very good understanding of all things Celtic, bring him in now.
