DAVIE PROVAN has told any Celtic fans still sour over the way Brendan Rodgers left the club to get over it in his latest column.

The former Celtic player and Sky Sports man believes Rodgers left the club in a great position — even if he did leave before the end of the season.

Provan’s still unsure if the Irishman would be welcomed back in large scale numbers to take a bow at Celtic Park in the near future.

  1. Brendan was a great Celtic manager and took us to a higher level.
    Under difficult circumstances Lenny has continued the run of unbroken domestic success and IMO has the team playing more entertaining football.
    Brendan’s departure has worked out to everyone’s benefit so I’d like to think, in time, the bitterness and rancour caused by his abrupt departure will fade
