Celtic have been visited by many clubs in Europe about their safe standing area as football begins to bring this back into play.
The standing section at Celtic Park occupied by the Green Brigade and other fans has been a real source of energy and noise during games and on the whole, has been a massive success.
The club had to go through rigorous amounts of work to get the OK from officials to make the standing section happen in the first place but it was well worth the trouble. Now, with the section a key part of Celtic Park – some Celtic fans are calling on the 2700 standing area to be expanded in the coming years.
There’s demand to get into the section and if Celtic could get permission from Glasgow City Council, expanding out into the Lisbon Lion lower could be an option in the future.
When the question was put to fans on social media they were positive about turning the stand into a ‘green wall’ similar to Dortmund.
Yes create a Green Wall similar to Dortmund’s yellow wall!

Should look to expand it to the full stand instead of the corner ?

Noise created on Big match day/nights is incredible. All for increasing it if it gives team an advantage on the field

Would you be in favour of the standing section being expanded?
