SKY SPORTS have rolled out Charlie Nicholas for his Europa League predictions ahead of Thursday night.

The former Celtic and Arsenal man had his say on what both his former clubs would get up to against their opponents and while we’re used to the pundit being negative about Celtic – he was more inclined to tip the bhoys ahead of the Rosenborg showdown.

He even used the words ‘Being a Celtic man’ in the prediction.

Speaking to SkySports Nicholas believes Celtic have enough to beat Rosenborg again BUT admitted he would like to see Rodgers play two frontmen against the Norwegians.

“Celtic aren’t making a lot of chances at the moment which is frustrating for a lot of people, none more so than Brendan Rodgers. Being a Celtic man, I would play Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths together and go after Rosenborg and pin them in.

“I am going for 2-0, hopefully Brendan finally agrees with me and I will back Edouard and Griffiths both to score, Celtic to win to nil.”

The Scot tipped three of the four UK sides to win on Thursday – the only one he put down to lose was The Rangers who are away to Villareal.
