Gavin Strachan has confirmed that the isolating players will return in time for next Wednesday’s game away to Livingston.

As quoted by the Scotsman, Strachan who is currently in temporary charge of the side, also confirmed that manager Neil Lennon and his fellow assistant John Kennedy will also be back in time for the preparations ahead of our second game in a week against Livi.

“As I understand it, I think it is Monday that [Lennon and Kennedy] are back. I think we have some guys back in on Sunday, and some on Monday, as I understand it.
“They will be assessed in terms of their fitness because they have been off for a little while but they should be available for selection.
“Everyone that was involved on Monday against Hibs and who was in [Lennoxtown] training during the week have all returned negative tests.”

Last week the Hoops were rocked by the fact 13 players and three members of the coaching staff were forced to self isolate after defender Christopher Jullien returned a positive test.

This left the club with a depleted squad and coaching staff ahead of the game on Monday against Hibs, which finished in 1-1 draw.

The Bhoys have also faced a lot of criticism after returning from Dubai before picking up a positive test.

These players will still be missing for tomorrow’s game against an on-form Livingston side who come to Celtic Park full of confidence. It is set to possibly be a tough test for those involved tomorrow.
