Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor has provided fans with an update on Christopher Jullien, who last week tested positive for Covid-19, saying he has shown no symptoms since then.

Speaking during his press conference ahead of tomorrow’s game against Livingston, McGregor confirmed that luckily Jullien hasn’t suffered from any Covid symptoms as of yet and is hopefully on the mend soon.

The French defender was the only player to return a positive test, after returning from Dubai. However, 13 players and three members of the coaching staff, including Neil Lennon were forced to isolate due to this.

It is good to hear that Jullien has not suffered massively from any of the symptoms that many people have struggled with.

Even when his isolation ends, the defender won’t make a quick return to the squad, picking up an injury against Dundee United at the end of December which will force him out for around 3-4 months.
