The importance of Joe Hart to the Celtic team has become increasingly evident over the past few games. In matches away at Aberdeen, Hibs, and St. Mirren in recent weeks, the contributions of the ‘keeper have been pivotal.

His save to deny Alex Gogic when the Celts were 1-0 up versus the Buddies was nothing short of crucial and after the match, the veteran number one took to Instagram. Hart captioned his post with ‘Big win. We move forward together.’ after putting in a standout display:

Among the comments were several Bhoys. Greg Taylor replied quipping ‘You’re the man’ while Matt O’Riley intriguingly said ‘Pogba’.

Perhaps the most noteworthy comment, however, came from winger Luis Palma. The Honduran internationalist was the architect of Celtic’s opener, and he commented on Hart’s post, simply saying ‘Superman’:

Few would disagree with Palma on his assessment of the 36-year-old. Hart seems to have taken his game to a new level over the past few matches, rolling back the years as he has served to save his team.
