As bizarre scenarios go, this has to be up there!

Most Celtic fans have accepted Odsonne Edouard will leave the club this summer. It’s more of a matter of how much money we get for him rather than will he go.

The striker is entering the final year of his contract and the club will want to get some sort of sizeable fee to prop up the coffers at Celtic Park.

The Bhoys are going into a full rebuild mode this summer but it all starts with who will be the next manager.

Footballfancast randomly put the Celtic question to Dean Windass, asking what would it take for Celtic to keep a hold of Eddy this summer.

Windas was asked if Thierry Henry was appointed the Celtic manager, would it sway Eddy to stay on at Celtic Park.

His response was probably correct, but the question and the scenario seems absolutely off.

“It probably will do but nobody knows.” Windass declared.

“Edouard wants to go on and play Champions League football.

“But if Thierry comes in and has a little word and says, ‘this is where I want you to be and you’ll be my main man’, then it might swing it.”

We are unsure what direction Celtic are going to go in with regards to the manager but Thierry Henry would be as left field as it gets.
