The Celtic exit is underway now the season is over.

We waved goodbye to Scott Brown on Saturday, but there were low key exits after Easter Road. Jonjoe Kenny has headed back down south while Diego Laxalt is on his way back to Italy to thrash out his future.

Shane Duffy returned to Brighton over a week a go and now it’s a waiting game to see who will be following these men out the door.

Kristoffer Ajer and Odsonne Edouard are our two high ticket players who could fetch a decent transfer fee.

Ryan Christie enters the final six months of his contract in the summer and looks a cert to leave unless a new manager can convince him to stay.

Over and above that, you have guys like Anthony Ralston who could also be saying goodbye.

This holding pattern the fans feel like their in at the moment will not go away until a new manager is in place. It looks as if a new boss won’t get to meet his players until the first day of pre-season.

Given Neil Lennon left the club in February, sitting in mid-May still waiting for the Celtic board to get the deal over the line.
