It has been an incredible few months for Ange Postecoglou and his group of players, fighting their way back to the top of the Scottish Premiership last night.

This side has faced a number of ups and downs, including frustrating results and losing several key players to injury at different stages throughout the 2021/22 campaign so far.

However, they have not once felt sorry for themselves and got straight back into the way of things, putting in an impressive run of wins during some potentially tricky fixtures.

You would imagine, given the nature of last night’s victory, the players would certainly have enjoyed that win, sending themselves to the summit of the league table.

But, an impressive aspect of those celebrations has been how quick each and every Celtic player has been quick to keep their focus on what is to come and not get too carried away with one result.

Players such as Callum McGregor and Cameron Carter Vickers, reminding their teammates and supporters that there is still a heck of a long way to go, and last night is not the end of this title race; although it was definitely a significant marker to put down.

With the nature of Ange and the squad this season, they won’t be getting too carried away and will be straight back to work at Lennoxtown this afternoon, preparing for Sunday’s trip to Fir Park.

The exact attitude we need to have from now until the end of the season.
