CELTIC head to Ibrox on Sunday somehow underdogs after winning three consecutive trebles and banging in 39 goals in 12 games this season so far. While the place wasn’t a happy hunting ground last season we should take comfort from the fact Celtic went to Ibrox twice with a diminished starting XI. Injuries and an over confidence explanation for the first defeat and the second defeat was a dead rubber – the title had already been won.

Tomorrow Celtic go to Ibrox with options for the first time since the double treble season. The biggest option Neil Lennon has is literally the number one question – who will start in goals at Ibrox?

Craig Gordon has been trying to stake his claim for his first team jersey back but Fraser Forster was inserted straight into the action against Hearts last Sunday. Unlucky to concede after initially saving a penalty. Lennon starting Forster against Hearts leads me to believe the Englishman will be preferred to the former Scotland number one.

Gordon thought his challenge was to oust Bain but now it’s to scrap past Bain and Forster to get into contention once Scott returns from injury.

There’s a chance Lenny surprises us but if I was a betting man – Fraser will be in goals tomorrow.
