FORMER Celtic defender Mark Wilson has given his take on Celtic’s hectic fixture schedule and revealed there’s one fixture in-particular which will likely trouble Celtic.

Celtic are battling it out on three fronts with some big games on the horizon in the cup, Europe and league. When it comes to the SPFL, Wilson believes there are two games where Celtic could potentially drop points. The Ex-Celt giving the club a 20 points out of 24 forecast.

The game he’s most worried about for Celtic is the Hearts away game, which could see a tired Celtic turn up to Tynecastle a week before Christmas looking to get the points.

Celtic dug themselves out of a hole at Tynecastle last season but Wilson believes this will be where Celtic drop points along with the game against Steven Gerrard’s men with the pundit putting that game down as a draw also.

“This is the one I’d be concerned about” Wilson told RecordSport. “I expect them to play direct to Uche Ikpeazu and if they are to drop points in December then this could be the night” he continued before tipping a 1-1 draw.

“As for the Glasgow derby on the 29th of December, Wilson has tipped a 2-2 draw. “I don’t like to sit on the fence but I’m going for a scoring draw”

“That would give Celtic 20 points out of a possible 24 if Wilson was to be correct.”

Celtic will drop points again this season, when they do will have a large bearing on how the season pans out. The longer they can keep racking up three points the more pressure is applied to their rivals.
