The first thing that struck most people when the Celtic team was announced earlier today was were was Scot Sinclair. The winger trained with the first team yesterday and with the injured Mikey Johnston most people would have assumed Sinclair would have started.

Neil Lennon confirmed that Scott had stayed in Glasgow and that there are teams interested in the winger according to the Daily Record.

“Nothing at the minute. He’s not (here), there’s a bit of interest but nothing concrete at the minute. It might change over the next 24 hours.”

A lot of Celtic fans will not be happy to see the English man head back down south as they feel he still has a lot to offer the team. Others feel his best days are behind him. So far this season Mikey Johnston has made the position his own but it wouldn’t hurt Neil Lennon to have Scott Sinclair as back up.

After a long drawn out saga it looks like Celtic are about to lose the services of fan-favourite Kieran Tierney too. Multiple reports are now saying the left-back is in London finalising a deal after Celtic finally accepted an Arsenal offer.
