Celtic were completely dominant over Rangers in the 2022/23 season.

The Bhoys completed a domestic treble, defeating their city rivals on numerous occasions and dumping them out of both cup competitions.

Over in Govan, it was a hugely unsuccessful campaign.

Many players on the books at Ibrox failed to hit the heights expected of them and a particular player, Todd Cantwell, appears to have been left somewhat rattled by Chris Sutton.

The former Celtic hero previously criticised the former Norwich man in his Daily Record column for going down too softly in a challenge which led to a free kick for his side against Hibs last season.

Sutton added that it wouldn’t be long before officials cottoned on to his antics.

These comments appear to have riled Cantwell up.

On Wednesday evening, the attacker took to Twitter.

Quoting a Tweet from Football Scotland which posed the question of who is the best pundit in Scotland, Cantwell said ‘I can tell you isn’t Chris Sutton’:

Clearly, Sutton, ever the wind-up merchant, has got into the head of the 25 year old.

Never would a player reply to such a Tweet out of the blue unless a pundit was playing on their mind.

This looks to be the case here which is somewhat amusing for Celtic fans.
