RONNY DEILA has shown a touch of class by paying homage to Billy McNeill and Celtic from Norway.

The Vålerenga boss stuck the Billy McNeill sticker to the window inside the Norwegian club’s stadium as a mark of respect to the recently departed European Cup winner captain.

The tribute was organised by @hoidy on social media who has worked tirelessly across the board to organise tributes to Billy McNeill today and raise a lot of money for charity.

The former Celtic boss has never hidden his love for Celtic since his two-year stint as manager before Brendan Rodgers took over for him three years ago.

The Norwegian may not have been everyone’s cup of tea but the humble boss has always conducted himself with pride and dignity. Ronny gave us some great times and he continues to follow the club to this day.

CeltsArehere.com interviewed the former Celtic manager a few months ago and he still has high praise for everybody at the club. We’re sure the manager will be watching on today as Celtic take to the field in the hope of landing a treble treble.

Something Ronny might have achieved if officials did their job properly.
