CELTIC look like they’re set to add a third signing to the mix this summer with reported target Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo close to a deal with the Scottish Champions.

It was MailSport who wrote last week Celtic were ‘closing in’ on the left back from Rapid Vienna but it went quiet over the weekend. Rumours online this evening have suggested a deal is over the line but resident MailSport chief Stephen McGowan has provided an update on the deal when prompted to on Social media this evening.

Asked if the deal was over the line, the in the know reporter wrote:

The ‘yet’ leading us all to believe the transfer could be close. The defender looks like he could be coming in to either play understudy to Kieran Tierney or be a direct replacement if Celtic sell their star player this summer.

Bolingoli-Mbombo, 24, has previously played for Club Brugge before making the Move to a Rapid in 2017.

Will he become Celtic’s third signing of the summer after Christopher Jullien and Luca Connell.
