It was late last night when Telegraph journalist had made the claim Aaron Hickey was on his way to Celtic despite the interest from Bayern Munich. However, Ross Pilcher of RecordSport has told his followers, Hearts have NOT received a bid for their defender from the Scottish Champions.
Hearts say they haven’t received any offer from Celtic for Aaron Hickey.

Hickey has been on Celtic’ radar since the Scottish Cup final against Hearts two seasons ago. After leaving the club for a second time to pursue first team opportunities at Hearts, Neil Lennon has been keen on the youngster.
It looked it was a dead cert the left-back would make the move to Bayern’s academy and while that can’t be ruled out, the news Celtic are still in with a chance is interesting.
They would have to come to an agreement with Hearts for Aaron before the end of the window at the start of October. The player might feel he has legitimate chance to make the breakthrough for Celtic, it would be between himself and Greg Taylor vying for the position.
