Two Call Ups and Injury Return; Celtic’s Provisional Squad Revealed

The Celtic provisional squad is out and Kyogo Furuhashi’s name is there – does it mean he’ll make the squad against Motherwell today – no – but it does give us hope the player could be back as early as midweek if he doesn’t make today.

The provisional squad is there as a list of players who have made it into match day reckoning. Not everyone in the provisional squad gets picked for the squad and things can change.

Right now, both Albian Ajeti and Kyogo are there. the two strikers went off injured during the game against Real Betis and their status isn’t quite known right now.

It’s telling that both Owen Moffat and Joey Dawson are in the provisional squad. Both players were left out of Tommy McIntyre’s side this weekend to train with the first team.

There’s a good chance one or both of them make at least the bench at Celtic Park this afternoon.

Anthony Ralston is also there, the defender could make his return from injury on Sunday afternoon .
