CELTIC take on St Mirren at Parkhead on Wednesday afternoon looking to gain a measure of revenge on the Buddies after they were humbled in Paisley earlier this season.

St Mirren are the only side to own a victory over Celtic in Scotland so far this season. At the time, they thoroughly deserved their victory.

Ange Postecoglou made one too many changes to a team that wasn’t quite ready to impose themselves.

This time around, most of the players are well bedded in and the team selection, no matter the changes should yield a good performance.

Ange has picked a team this evening he believes will get the job done so the Hoops maintain their nine point lead at the top of the table.

We were maybe expecting a debut this week and we have it! Kobayashi comes in for CCV who has dropped right out of the team. Alistair Johnstone starts on the right while Juranovic starts on the left this evening. Interestingly, there’s no Giakoumakis in the squad.

  1. This could be fun. I though Starfelt was going to be finally dropped and it would be the last we’d see of him in a Celtic shirt. Alas, it was not to be. Who will shepherd him tonight that CCV is not on the field.
