Celtic take on Copenhagen in their second leg tie at Celtic Park on Thursday night with it all still to play for.

The bhoys got a vital away goal in the first leg and thanks to some spot-kick heroics from Fraser Forster, the game ended 1-1 on the night, keeping Celtic in the driver’s seat.

It’s going to be a big night at Celtic Park. The game is sold out and with the introduction of VAR to the already high stakes, it promises to be a memorable night if Celtic can find a way past the Danish side.

UEFA have today confirmed who will be tasked with officiating the tie on Thursday night along with his assistants and video ref.

Referee Artur Dias (POR)

Assistant referees Rui Tavares (POR), Paulo Soares (POR)

Video Assistant Referee Tiago Martins (POR)

Assistant Video Assistant Referee Bruno Rodrigues (POR)

Fourth official Hugo Miguel (POR)

Dias has officiated four European ties this season; three Champions League encounters and one Europa qualifier. His highest-profile match this season the 2-2 draw between Real Madrid and PSG.

The referee has also officiated in the Saudi league as well as Portugal. In all, the referee has officiated 27 games this term handing out 144 yellow cards, five red cards after a second caution and 4 straight reds (Transfermarkt). The ref has handed out seven penalties in 27 games. Food for thought.
