UEFA have released the groups for today’s Europa League playoff draw and Celtic will avoid some of the bigger sides or the more known sides like Legia and Young Boys.

Here who Celtic could be up against should they beat Riga in Latvia on Thursday;

Dynamo Brest
Red Star Belgrade
Ludogorets
FK Sarajevo / Buducnost
Ararat-Armenia / NK Celje

The Europa League playoff will also just be one leg in a winner takes all scenario. As per all precious rounds, the team drawn first will get home advantage, however, there are exceptions should the fixture not be able to go ahead in it’s original from.

Celtic have to make the trip to Latvia next week after being drawn the away tie for the third qualifying round. A home draw would be nice but at this stage, the bhoys need to screw the head and make sure there are no mistakes in the next two games.

Celtic got to the last 32 of the competition last season and will have felt they could’ve got further had it not been for some reckless defending in the Copenhagen tie.
