CELTIC smashed five past St Mirren on a day where they were in no mood to give their rivals any hint of vulnerability.

With an important Glasgow Derby up next week for the bhoys, they warmed up for the away tie by making light work of St Mirren. The team didn’t have to get out of second gear most of the game.

The partnership between Leigh Griffiths and Odsonne Edouard was fantastic to watch.

Three goals for Leigh and one for Eddy with a late penalty for Cal Mac putting the bhoys way out of sight.

Celtic have been relentless, they had a small blip during the week against Livingston but on Saturday afternoon they were back to doing what they do best.

It’s no coincidence, the pitches Celtic have played on as of late have been horrible. The Celtic Park pitch is immaculate and was conducive to good football, even on a wet and windy day in Glasgow.

Here’s all the goals!
