CELTIC fans are over in their numbers for the Real Madrid game on Wednesday evening. It’s the first time the Hoops have visited the Bernabeu since the early 80s and despite having nothing to play for, supporters are making the most of it.
We have saw brilliant footage throughout Tuesday of fans enjoying themselves. But tonight we’ve watched some concerning images and videos of police in riot gear and some Celtic fans unfortunately reacting.
Celtic fans always have great fun on their travels and there’s rarely trouble. The game against Madrid as been labelled as a high security risk by local Madrid police. We were told by people on the ground they have been an unnecasery presence in many places.
Sadly in the video below there’s a reaction from some Celtic supporters who are taking issue with the police.

We’re aware many Celtic fans have tickets in the home end and neutral section. Hopefully everyone gets into the game and this is the only trouble we see.
Looks like mostly young police, no doubt led by a wannabe, causing trouble for tourists who were eating a meal at a restaurant, and the tourists reacting to being picked on and forced to stand up and walk away from their meal & drinks for seemingly no reason
