MARYAN SHVED is playing like a man possessed for Karpaty Lviv as the attacking midfielder gets set for his permanent summer switch to the Scottish Champions.

The £1.8m wonder kid was snapped up in January and loaned back to his Ukranian side where he has been a trailblazer, picking up player of the month in March and making quite the name for himself.

On Sunday he was at it again scoring the 14th goal of the campaign in just 23 appearances.

What a goal that was and it gives Celtic fans just a little insight into the 21-year-old’s talent.

It was the scouting network who picked the player up as Brendan Rodgers spoke back in January about knowing not very much about the player and even used him to take a dig at the board for signing another winger.

Since then, Shved has gone back to Ukraine and absolutely took his game to a new level. Celtic fans will be hoping the attacking midfielder will continue that form into Celtic’s pre-season and beyond.
