Celtic youngster Barry Coffey showed off his set piece prowess for Cliftonville on Tuesday night – the Hoops midfielder curling it in from outside the area.

Coffey went out on loan to the Irish club earlier this year and has been putting in consistent performances.

The midfielder was stagnating in the Celtic youth system. Right now, the Lennoxtown set up is not fit for purpose. There’s no route to the first team and the game time is non-existent.

Celtic sent quite a few players out on loan between January and March to let them enjoy some game time. Coffey is one of the players who is thriving. Check out his goal below.

We’re coming to the end of the season and these lads will all be due back at Lennoxtown over the summer.

By the time they do get back to the club, we should have a new manager in place.

A fresh set of eyes to look at the squad as a whole and see if any of these young lads can make a new look Celtic squad.
