The Green Brigade unveiled a new chant for Adam Idah at the weekend, as the Irish striker continued his impressive form with a sensational goal in Celtic’s 3-0 win over Dundee United.
Idah, who joined Celtic in January 2024, is Celtic’s first-choice striker after Kyogo’s departure to Rennes in January. He has been in red-hot form, scoring five goals in his last five appearances, and his latest strike—a thunderous finish against Dundee United—only strengthened his growing connection with the fans, leading to a new anthem ringing around the North Curve section.
The New Adam Idah Chant
He came to lead the line 🥁
And now he’s up there and he wears the number 9 🥁
For Glasgow Celtic and when he gets the ball 🥁
We’re all waiting on another Idah goal 🥁
He shoots and scores
Nananana, oh Adam Idah
Nananana, oh Adam Idah
Nananana, oh Adam Idah
Having been at Celtic for over a year, Idah has cemented his place in the team, not only with his goalscoring but also his physical presence and link-up play. With Celtic pushing towards another league title and facing Bayern Munich in the Champions League second leg on Tuesday, the Irishman is hitting good form at the right time.

The chant’s debut at the weekend shows just how much Celtic fans have embraced the Irishman, and if he keeps finding the net, expect to hear it ringing around Celtic Park more and more.

The DJ played ABBAs “Mama Mia…” That’s a far better tune to make lyrics around. That does nothing for me, sounds like a drunken dirge.
