Celtic managed to find a way to win in the end in extreme circumstances in Dingwall. The Hoops had no recognised striker, their centre-back was sent off for dubious refereeing decisions and we still managed to get the victory.

It was the finest of margins and it was a night where Celtic were getting nothing from a referee who seemed incapable of doing his job correctly.

Just before Celtic scored, there was an incident where a Ross County player has raised his hands and blocked a shot to stop Celtic from getting a shot on target.

Back ten years ago, you wouldn’t have batted an eyelid at this not being given, but in today’s game, these types of penalties are given again and again.

The player clearly turns his body and his arms are up. The referee doesn’t even look like he thinks about it and just carry’s on.

It’s clear, if Celtic are to win the league this season, they’ll have to find their own slender margins.
