On-loan Celtic striker Vakoun Bayo has continued his good run of form, coming off the bench to add to Toulouse’s lead in the dying minutes of the game in their 3-0 win over AC Ajaccio.

That is two goals in two games now for the Ivorian, who is beginning to enjoy a good run of form since after the new year.

Coming off the bench with seven minutes to go, Bayo grabbed his chance and scored a bullet header for a corner to finish the game off for the Ligue 2 side who now find themselves in 2nd place only two points behind Troyes in top spot.

The 24-year old got off to a flyer at the start of his loan spell, scoring a double on his debut. However, it slowed up a bit for the striker who also had injury problems.

Ever since the beginning of the new year though, he has begun his resurgence in the side whether that be in the starting 11 or off of the bench. In his last eight games, he has five goal contributions.

It certainly should be interesting to see how he fairs over the next few months and if he possibly could be part of whoever is in charge of next season plans
