Virgil van Dijk thanked all his fortnight clubs including Celtic as he picked up the PFA player of the year award in England.
The big Dutchman has become the most expensive defender in football since leaving Celtic and has gone into captain his country and play in a Champions League Final.
Since moving to Liverpool the defender he shown everybody why he is one of the best defender on the planet as he continues to look for silverware this season.
As the defender picked up his award he remained humble and thanked all the clubs who helped get him to this point in his career.

Celtic fans always knew Virgil was a special player even when people within our Scottish media tried to put him down. The player was a fantastic asset and a major bargain for the club considering his talents. As the season comes to a close the Dutchman still has the chance of a league and Champjons League double with Liverpool.
