Neil Lennon and his backroom staff can be very proud of the players he brought to Celtic Football Club during the summer. Lennon was faced with a massive exodus of first-team regulars heading for the Paradise exodus.

So far the likes of Forster, Jullien, Elhamed, Bolingoli and Mohamed Elyounoussi have all impressed. But in the last few weeks, a young deadline day signing who most fans probably did not expect to see play so soon is making waves.

He has started three games so far and he has made waves in those three games. He had another standout performance today at Pittodrie and it did not go unnoticed by his teammates or captain as they pushed him into leading the full-time celebrations with travelling Celtic fans.

Games will come thick and fast now for the Hoops all the way to the winter break so Frimpong is sure to get plenty more game time.

If Lennon has got it so right with the new signings he has introduced to the first team so far fans can be excited about the likes of Luca Connell, Greg Taylor and Lee O Connor getting their chance in the team.
