Celtic came away from Dens Park relatively unscathed and with three crucial Scottish Premiership points on Sunday.

The Bhoys were not at their dazzling best but did enough to get over the line in a crucial game.

Star of the show was winger James Forrest. He rolled back the years with a vintage performance, bagging a brace to give his side the win.

The 32-year-old opened the scoring just after the half-hour mark, lashing home from just outside the box with a volley he couldn’t have caught any sweeter.

It is fair to say the goal fits into the ‘satisfying’ category and although it looked good from all the usual angles on mainstream television, the strike appeared even more magnificent from the corner of the net:

The Hoops have scored some eye-pleasing goals this season. Kyogo’s in the Parkhead Glasgow Derby just before the turn of the year was splendid as was Luis Palma’s away at Ross County in November.

Forrest’s may not be right up there with the best of the campaign but it was a fine finish from a man who possesses the utmost quality.
