It was hard one to take for the supporters and players on Sunday as Celtic slipped to second in the table.

The bhoys put in a very below par performance against Livingston who were up for it and played their own game to perfection on the day.

A red card for Ryan Christie made it even harder for the day but Callum McGregor backed his team-mate and wouldn’t put any of the blame on his fellow midfielder.

The Celtic player also admitted they just didn’t turn up and were below par against a very physical Livingston side.

Celtic have to wait until October 19 before they’re back in action against Ross County. The bhoys need to rebound back and fast to put the pressure on at the top. With four of the next five SPFL games at home you would hope this Celtic team can keep plugging away.

Until then we’re stuck with international football.
