Celtic centre back Cameron Carter-Vickers has given the Hoops the lead against Dundee.

Just seven minutes into the game, a Matt O’Riley cross from a free kick, won by Yang Hyun-Jun, found Carter-Vickers at the back post. Who calmly, headed home.

With Carter-Vickers returning from injury at the weekend, it is incredible to see him be influential in just his second game back.

The American centre back undoubtedly brings a calmness to the side with his defensive presence, but to see him contributing goals at the other end will be a welcome sign for supporters.

Celtic have missed Carter-Vickers for much of the season due to injuries, but having him back fit for the second half of the season will be vital in seeing the Hoops progress from what was a disappointing first half of the season for Brendan Rodgers in his second spell at the club.
