It is fair to say that Celtic is not just a club but a world brand.
The recent additions of numerous Japanese players to the Parkhead ranks has certainly put testament to this theory.
And over the summer, despite them being on a break, two of the Hoops’ men from the land of the rising sun have looked to keep up their fitness levels by training with their former club.
Yuki Kobayashi and Kyogo Furuhashi both linked up with Vissel Kobe this week and trained with the club who currently sit second in the J. League table with a game in hand.
After the session, the pair took time to bond with supporters. They took photos, had chats and signed autographs:

This was a brilliant show of respect to the fans from Kobayashi and Kyogo who combined played 189 times for Kobe.
It appears the club still holds a special place in their hearts.
