Celtic secured a world record eighth domestic treble on Saturday evening as Ange Postceoglou master-minded a 3-1 victory over Inverness in the Scottish Cup final.

On 38 minutes, Kyogo opened the scoring before Liel Abada added a second with around 20 minutes to go.

Caley Thistle did get one back but Jota cancelled it out late on to wrap up the 3-1 victory.

And after the final whistle was sounded to put end to proceedings at Hampden, there were some memorable scenes.

The Celtic fans were on top form and after the Bhoys themselves had lifted the club, there was a spine-tingling rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone’:

In fine voice, the supporters could likely have been heard from miles away and when they were singing, the players were simply drinking it all in.

Celtic is a special club to be a part of and today’s scenes put testament to this as the Hoops broke a world record.
