Matt O’Riley added Celtic’s third goal in extra time after 106 minutes played.
O’Riley found himself with plenty of space and time in the Aberdeen box after Alistair Johnston cut the ball back.
The Danish midfielder made no mistake with an incredible finish, leaving Kelle Roos no chance.

To have the composure to take a touch before his shot in extra time says a lot about the class of O’Riley.
Celtic’s combination play, particularly down the right-hand side, was very impressive, with James Forrest’s through ball past Jack Mackenzie to Johnston cutting open the Aberdeen defence.
Forrest certainly made an impact in the game, with his one-two combinations adding a different dimension to Celtic’s wing play on both the right and left sides during the match.
