Former Celtic star Odsonne Edouard nostalgically recalled his days at Parkhead during a recent live TV appearance in France.
Not only did he speak fondly of his time with the Hoops, but he also surprised viewers by singing the club fans’ version of the Stone Roses hit, ‘I Wanna Be Adored’.
Edouard, who was once a £9 million signing for Celtic from PSG in the summer of 2018 after a successful season long loan the year prior
His tenure was marked by such success that he later joined Crystal Palace in a deal worth £13 million.
During his time with the Scottish club, Edouard won the hearts of many fans. They creatively tweaked the lyrics of the Stone Roses’ iconic song to celebrate him, coining the chant ‘I Wanna Be Edouard’. This reimagined anthem was a frequent soundtrack in stadiums whenever Edouard scored a goal.
