Celtic centre-back Gustaf Lagerbielke was in action for Sweden during the week. The defender was indeed a standout in a 3-1 win over Moldova, winning a penalty and bagging his first goal for his country.
Early in the game, Lagerbielke powerfully nodded home from an inviting Jesper Karlsson delivery to give his side a 2-0 advantage before the 20-minute mark. It was a memorable moment for the 23-year-old who opened his Sweden account.
On Twitter, his national team’s official account posted a video of the player rewatching his goal. The reaction was a pleasing one from a visibly happy Lagerbielke:

Although we do not know what he was saying in Swedish, the former Elfsborg man undoubtedly looked pleased. There was a beaming smile on the face of Lagerbielke when he rewatched the goal that he will cherish.
Sweden faces Belgium next in Euro 2024 qualification on Monday. The defender will aim to keep his place in the team as he continues to build confidence before returning to Celtic.
