Celtic welcomed Raith Rovers to Celtic Park for the second time this season in cup competition. The bhoys have already knocked the lower league side out of the League Cup and are hoping to make it a double in today’s Scottish Cup clash.

It was a hard laboured opening twenty minutes from Celtic against Raith Rovers today in the Scottish Cup. The Hoops seemed to be going through the motions without being a real threat from the visitors.

Mikey Johnston and Nir Bitton did go close with long-range efforts but this rocket from left-back Liam Scales is worthy of winning any game.

This is Scales second goal for the Hoops. The Irishman joined Celtic from Shamrock Rovers in the summer and although he plays back up to Taylor he doesn’t disappoint when called on. This goal will do him the world of good.

Ange Postecoglou made seven changes to his team today with a Europa Conference tie scheduled for Thursday night at Paradise.

Celtic 1 Raith 0
