In every Glasgow derby, there are a plethora of flashpoints for fans to go over and this one was no different. However, one incident that is barely being spoken of is when Celtic striker Kyogo was almost wiped out by Ben Davies.

Early in the second half with the score at 1-1, Cameron Carter-Vickers played a lofted ball over the top of the Rangers’ defence.

As ever, Kyogo was lively and looked to latch on to it; however, he was stopped in his tracks:

As seen in the video, the Japanese forward made a darting diagonal run which would’ve saw him get across Ben Davies however, the Englishman’s flailing arm got in the way.

It remains to be seen whether or not the former Liverpool man meant this; however, regardless, it is concerning Kevin Clancy did not catch it.

If he did, a free kick at least should’ve been given and if it was deemed to be reckless, a yellow card should’ve also been issued. Moreover, if the incident was indeed said to be violent and prevented Kyogo from getting in behind and wielding a goal-scoring opportunity, Davies should’ve been off.

Nonetheless, it wasn’t noticed by Clancy nor many which is vastly concerning yet interesting.

  1. The wee man, got up, never complained, he did what all great strikers do.

He nutmegged the govan beggar, and scored again.

Much better, as the hun cheerleaders would’ve complained even more, that no blood was shed.

And tarnished the Hoops victory with a * and some shi7e about ‘only because they were reduced to nine defenders’.

  2. From the reports Clancy g=has a fair game, total sh1te. In the second half he repeatedly gave fouls for even a legitimate tackles and repeated free kicks given near the away sides dugout. Nancy Clancy did us no favours , even if you believe the sh1te coming as usual from GOVAN, and their mob.
So pleased they sahowed their colours once again, and in Bealing Beale they have the ideal guy to talk pi5h all day long. Here come the cup semi’s, and out will trot the same old cr@p once again.
Imagine asking the SFA for an apology, when you’ve got a team that in itself is an apoopogy for a football team.

  3. M.Beale has got some team of diving cheating scumbag just like oldco cheats never won i honestly thought the sevco players were at swimming lessons the diving they were doing beale wont last long playing like that honest but he knows the men in black will give his players a freekick to help them get the ball into celtic box shower of sad losing scumbags who cant except celtic are far better team than they rats at cheating liebrox

  4. You can see the Hun Davies deliberately runs into Kyogo’s path and takes him out like a clothes line. The goes to the right hand corner flag direction but Davies runs to the other direction to take Kyogo out. Deliberate act in my opinion then you have the biggest cheating sleekit basket – Ryan Jack remonstrating with Kyogo trying to get him up. Honest genuine question here – Has anyone ever seen Jack go into a 50/50? He’s always late and tries to leave his calling card. Total coward of a man.

  5. His face tells the story. Hunny knew what he was doing. Clancy gave 3 Celtic corners to them as bye kicks. God knows how many legit tackles as free kicks, but clearly we are back to the notion and narrative that Celtic are vulnerable to high balls into the box, so ref gave as many opportunities for set pieces in Celtic half as he could manage. He started by trying to nullify the 3 mid-fielders and Carter Vickers with soft bookings in first half. Celtic done a lot better under these circumstances than most people are giving them credit for ! ! ……… who mentioned conspiracy theory ? I call it outright cheating .
