In a season where nobody has really covered themselves in glory, Ryan Christie has continually been in the thick of things, in doing so, he’s taken the mantle of most frustrating player from the injured James Forrest according to many in the support.

His constant shooting this season has been a real source of frustration but it’s clear the manager allowed it to be the case. For some of the spectacular efforts he’s scored, there’s been too many more that have landed near the Mars rover.

It has to be said, even though Ryan has played in several different positions, many times out of position, when it comes to the creative flair in the team, he’s still up there, even this term.

Ryan is top of the shop for chances created and key accurate passes this term while he’s just behind Odsonne Edouard for shots on target.

Leigh Griffiths only having 18 shots on target because his limited game time. The striker nearly finishing half of his shots on target.

Christie is also top three with accurate crosses but he does have the lowest percentage of success.

While the player is due criticism he has suffered from overly critical supporters who will forget all the good he does during a game and remember that one thing he did wrong.
