When it comes to this stage of the season, we as Celtic fans have become used to having at least something to play for.

This campaign though, with four games to go it just feels like we are counting down the minutes until this season ends.

So with the first of those four games being played this evening, what will we be expecting to see, come 6:30 when the Celtic team is announced on social media?

In all honestly, it’s anyone’s guess as to what we can expect.

In an ideal world, the players featuring tonight should be those that will be at the club going forward or at least have the possibility of staying in Glasgow.

The likes of Vasilias Barkas, so we can get one last look at the Greek goalkeeper to determine if he has anything that proves he should be given another chance. Albian Ajeti – a striker who hasn’t seen much action this season after coming in for around £5 million last summer. Youngsters such as Adam Montgomery could potentially be the long term future of this club.

At the same time but, it wouldn’t come as much of a surprise to see the regular faces in the side that we have seen pretty much week in, week out this season.

It is anyone’s guess as to which players will be part of the starting line-up at Pittodrie this evening. Personally, I think, it should be a chance to see those that will be at the club going forward and players on the fringes.

  1. I’m expecting the same garbage that keeps under performing because they stopped caring in October.
I expect Aberdeen to win, I don’t care, I’m not even going to try to find a stream. It’s been a very long time since I’ve had this attitude.

  2. Luca Connell and lee O’Connor should be getting game time. I know Connell is out on loan, but he should be in for next season.
