JOSIP JURANOVIC was in Europa League action on Thursday night, scoring his first goal in the red and white striped of Union Berlin.
Taking a shot from outside of the box, the former Celtic right-back took the Ajax keeper by surprise as the ball trickled into the back of the net.
It was the first time since Celtic that Juranovic has had to celebrate a goal without his good friend, Daizen Maeda. The pair often struck a pose together, but Josip Juranovic was alone for his celebration this time.
He took to Instagram and added a photo of his celebration to his story, asking Daizen where he was.
It’s great to see the bromance continue after Juranovic has moved on, and it shows just how tight-knitted the Celtic squad is.
Juranovic has settled in well in Germany, constantly performing at a high level. It’s been a successful move so far, as his side challenge for the Bundesliga title, with all the top three teams separated by goal difference.
