ROD STEWART has revealed what Peter Lawwell said to him in the immediate aftermath of Celtic fans lighting flares in the Stadio Olimpico.
The bhoys were made the trip to Rome in their thousands to watch the team beat Lazio 2-1 on the night.
It was an historic night as Celtic came from a goal down to beat the home side and take all three points which is already enough to make sure Celtic are in the last 32 of the competition with two games to spare.
Before the game, as the teams came out, there were flares lit by some Celtic fans and after Celtic had scored the winner another few came out.
Before the game, sitting just along from Peter Lawwell the Celtic daft singer spoke up and asked Peter Lawwell if we were in trouble again.

Celtic have to take their fair share of the blame for the persistent idiotic behaviour of the lunatic fringe we have amongst our support. They were at at Hamden and continued their bad behaviour in Rome. Celtic know the culprits and yet still give them privileges. Whilst you and l had to depend on a ballot to get a ticket the GB had their usual area to themselves. Now while l do compliment them on fund raising for charities this does not excuse them for their idiotic behaviour. They know their behaviour will land our club in bother but they think they are above reproach and do what ever they please. Celtic must address this issue and start banning the culprits before we face a stand closure. No fan or group of fans should come before the reputation of the club. This is an accident waiting to happen.
