PATRICK ROBERTS has tonight completed a sensational return to Celtic after a summer of speculation.
The midfielder’s initial 18-month-loan finished at the end of last season with Man City having other plans for him this summer.
However, due to Celtic’s and the player’s perseverance, the Englishman has now signed on for another season to the delight of the Celtic faithful.

Calm down Gerry. We have him secured for another season. Who knows if there’s maybe an option to buy at the end of this deal. Don’t know if you appreciate exactly how expensive it is to get a player of his quality in. Reality is Man City hold all the aces as he’s their player and they’re one of the world’s richest clubs. It’s a minor miracle we got him back at all. Be thankful for that. HH
