CELTIC were top class as they won 6-1 in their match against Hibs.

A hat trick for Forrest saw him reach 100 goals in a Celtic shirt, with a brace from Giakoumakis and a first goal of the season for Maeda sealing the victory for the hoops.

Postecoglou made a lot of changes heading into the match, which worried some fans given past experiences; however, the players that were brought into the side influenced positively, freshening the side.

Celtic were simply too good for Hibs today, with this the largest margin the Edinburgh club has lost by this season.

Here are three talking points from Saturday’s match:

Forrest Reaches 100 Celtic Goals.

James Forrest’s hat trick now makes him the 30th player to enter the 100 club at Celtic. It’s a terrific achievement, with his name going down in the history books. A Celtic legend for sure.

Squad Players Step Up.

Players like Aaron Mooy really stepped up to the plate on Saturday. Along with Bernabei, Mooy was impressive today and will be playing on Ange’s mins ahead of Wednesday’s match in Motherwell.

Celtic take their chances.

A complaint of recent weeks has been that the team haven’t taken their chances, and the score line not reflecting Celtic’s dominance. Celtic took their chances today but will be kicking themselves they couldn’t make it 7-1..
