TIMO WEAH has posted his congratulations to his former teammates as he watches on from afar this afternoon. The American midfielder is on international duty with his country at the under 20 World Cup. Timo decided to join up with the USA and miss the title celebrations as well as the Scottish Cup Final.
He posted out to his Instagram followers earlier today that he is ‘Always a Celt’.
Weah was offered the chance to come back for the Scottish Cup final but declined. During his loan spell at the club the player had his ups and downs.
A great start under Brendan Rodgers wasn’t replicated under Neil Lennon who was reluctant to use the PSG player when he came into the club.
Weah is unlikely to rejoin the club in any capacity and will return to France after the World Cup in Poland. There’s a chance the player could be sold by the Paris side in the off season.
