The first team coaching staff have been closely monitoring how the youth players are doing, with three stepping up to the senior squad this season.
The manager has previously spoken about how he won’t be handing out places in the team to youth players just for the sake of it as we approach the end of the season. Instead, they’ll have to earn their places, and there’s no better way to impress the manager than in a cup final against the rivals.
Ange was at Hampden to watch the Under 16s play this month and he again makes it to watch the bhoys of the future. The Australian showing he’s all in. It’s great to see the Celtic manager so committed and willing to give youth a chance if they deserve it.
